Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending some of my afternoon with the incredible ladies of the Vanguard Nation, aka 1-18 Infantry, Scott's old unit. They were putting together care packages for the soldiers who are deployed with the help of the 18th Regimental Association and some wonderful people from Herrington, KS, the partner city of battalion. It was great to visit with some old friends (some older than others!) and do something for the soldiers for Christmas.
